I recently got my hands on a wallet that features a unique pop-out card mechanism, and I must say, it's a fun and innovative addition to my daily carry! I have to say, the Ekster wallet is pretty life changing. It easily holds my ID, 4 raised cards, and my AMEX platinum with no issues to the release function. I like the elastic money band, but the back plating to keep any money in place is very very flimsy. Really the one of two negatives about the wallet (unless you're putting quite a fill bills in, you may worry about items becoming loose). 2nd negative? The wallet easily gets scuffed up, scratched, and/or fingerprints. Not the end of the world if you're in it for function vs visual appeal. Personally I bought this as a lighter (and secure) option for when I travel. Extra benefit has been the release mechanism, very fun to play with but also great for quick access.

It's a great product. - It feels a lot better than regular leather wallets, my pocket doesn't feel bulky. - You will get used to the new way to access your cards quickly. - Fits my needs: Credit cards in the main space and for ID, driver's licenses, and other membership cards, I used the expandable backplate. - It only holds 4 credit cards in the main space, so be careful adding more. Believe me, I tried adding a fifth card, and ALL of them got stuck. I seriously thought I was going to need to damage the new wallet to recover them. If this happens to you, use 2 plastic cards like the samples included as tweezers to retrieve one, and then pull the other ones as usual. - It's been a couple of weeks since I got it, so I can't tell about its durability yet, although it looks good. Overall this wallet is beautiful and comfortable. Ideal for people who do not carry cash and are annoyed with bulky pockets. Is it worth the money? It all depends on durability now.

Bought this wallet because it was slim and I hated my bulky standard folding wallet. I thought the mechanism that pops your cards right out was a really nice feature including the band to hold your money. I have had this wallet for 3 years now and it has never gave me any issues. The band holds the money and my cards in place, the mechanism works just like it did day 1. Overall great product and I would recommend it.

I loved this wallet for the time Ive had it up until about a month ago. I went to get my cards out to pay for a transaction and the ejector is not working. Everything else about this wallet is amazing but this issue really disappointed me. I even tried to see if i could fix it on my own and could not find anything on my problem and how to fix it. Please help.UPDATE!!! Ekster reached out to me and quickly replaced my wallet, although I originally had the silver wallet they sent my a white one. 🙃 ooops. Other than that I extremely pleased with there team and how friendly and fadt they moved to help me with my issue! Customer for life!! Ill be ordering the key chain next!

[ORIGINAL REVIEW] (still accurate - 3 stars) - update at bottom for Customer Service Response: I was really excited for this wallet and the prospect of quick access to my cards. Unfortunately the actual experience was a wallet that was more difficult to use than the slimline Airo Collective one that it replaced. Instead of the 6 cards quickly and easily popping up each time, my experience has been that having 6 cards is just slightly too tight and I end up needing to take all 6 out to get the one I want. Additionally, the tiny lip is too small to actually grab any individual card from the 6 for me even if they weren't so tightly packed. I've also found the pop-up to be unreliable in terms of staggering - as shown in the photo, about 50% of the time two cards will stick together and pop up as one. Removing a card also doesn't help because with fewer than 6 the cards sort of move around and again don't reliably align. I do note that I have two thicker cards - an AMEX Platinum and a CHASE Sapphire, and I've tried putting my ID in (since it's thinner) and even my health insurance card (also thin), but there simply doesn't seem to be a card order or organization that allows for either of the two thicker cards to be inside. It may be that with 6 "regular" cards this might be a great wallet for some, but I'd steer clear of it if your cards are in any way non-standard in thickness. [UPDATE]: 5-stars for Customer Service Ekster reached out after posting my 3-star review to offer a refund on the wallet since it did not meet my needs/expectations. IMPORTANTLY - *They did not ask me to change or delete my review* They simply asked to make it right and stand by the guarantee on their website (which we don't technically get on Amazon). I accepted and they refunded the wallet within an hour of my response. While the wallet is not for me, as described above, I am always a fan of companies that offer good support and stand by their products, so 5-stars for the support!

It's very durable, and it stays cool in my pocket unlike a traditional leather or fabric wallet. My only complaint is that if I put more than 4 cards into the main compartment, it's nearly impossible to press the switch to pop them out. It almost feels like it's going to break with 5 or 6 cards in it. If I keep 4 cards in there, and the rest outside under the metal plate/elastic band, the mechanism works great!

I love this brand it’s amazing
